My sin was so powerful and deceitful; I started looking for ways to justify my behavior. But you can’t hide from God; sin has a way of catching up with you.

If you “trip”, get back up; keep God’s covenant!

I believe that you can be a child of God, but still do deeds for the devil. We can use our assets for good or for bad; free will.

It took me about 9 months, but I can now say that God has healed me from my affliction. I'm far from invincible, but at least I don't still have the cravings that I use to have. My will power is much stronger, I can do all things through Christ.

I've learned that a life of sin is stressful and unfruitful. And to make matters worse, sin will prevent us from walking into our true life's purpose, God's promise. The temporary high that I've experienced from doing a deed for the devil cannot compare to the Utopia that I feel when I allow God completely in my life!

The more time I spend with God each day, the less time I'll have available for the devil. Which means, I have to maintain my covenant with God daily/hourly!

This is exactly how I walk thru my life. Before I was often taken advantage of. I may have even taken advantage of others. I like many, thought helping someone by not making the not-so-right choice in "God's eyes" was okay. Now, I think thoroughly about ANY decision that is not morally right. Why was it presented to me? More importantly, why should I say no. It can be hard if a Devil befriends you, but easy if you have a relationship with your Almighty. We can find a place where we wake up every day happy that our life is clear of deception, wrongdoing and so forth.

An article this month said, "Folks are happier when they take risks". Risks can be confused with Good and Bad repercussions. So let's keep in mind whose side we are on when reading statements like this:

"Being a rebel pays off big. "Those who risk the most win the most," Portmann says. "Once you conquer your fear of doing things that aren't 'allowed,' you'll think more expansively and see angles that others overlook." Since you'll have fewer boundaries, you'll be open to possibilities.
