We know forgiving is not forgetting, but is it too much to ask to not have the past forgiven errors be reused as evidence against a defendant for future accusations? Basically, "how many times do I have to suffer a sentence for the same offense?" Can a couple truly move forward while constantly looking in the rear view mirror?
