I believe that there may be some truth to this quote. Most men that I know who seem to find happiness from being with multiple women, either grew up without a mother or they were a “Mama’s Boy.” I guess you can say that this theory is similar to a family member of mine who tries to find a father figure in all the men that she dates.
I feel sad for people who go through life without maintaining a feeling of contentment. No matter how many men or women “People Who Seek Utopia From Others” receive, happiness is not likely to occur, until they learn to be happy from within.
We really need to find a way to mend the committed relationships in our community. Like Lynette K. McDonald says, “If we fail to bring life to our relationships, we automatically sow death.”

I am aware the theme is cheating men, but I just want to point out one thing. This quote can mean much more. This past tuesday I was in a bar fight at taco tuesday. I am not a violent or aggressive person. Anyone who knows me understands my personality and that I am fairly playful and remain in a joking matter most days. However, when I go out I tend to dismiss all advances by men as I feel the bar is definitely not the best place to meet a potential mate. To add to this, my boyfriend and I frequently toss back at this bar. On to my point, a gentleman continued to make advances and I continued to politely decline. A couple too many shots later he walks up with a woman I have never seen and states “this is the bitch I was telling you about”. Skkkkkiiirrrrrrrrrrr…bitch? What did I do to deserve that? My reply was ” you are so disrespectful right now, you don’t even know me”. The woman replies “bitch he don’t need to respect you” and pushed me in my forehead. Instinctively I swung back, oh was that a beer bottle in my hand…oops! The music stopped, security guards ran in and it was over after a few good licks. The moral of the story is what would posses a man to be so disrespectful to a random female? Men should think about what comes out of their mouth prior to releasing it. Rather it be sexual or not! Not being raised with your mother does limit the liability when it comes to respecting women. If you can’t respect the woman who birth you how can you respect a woman with out that much clout?

I certainly think that a mans upbringing, minus the guidance of a mother can lead them to be potentially viewing us in a negative light…but does that same man have a sister?..or if he actually got the chance to know his Mother..maybe not, Men need to realize that we created…(reguardless of the rib sorry) but that same trim that you came out of is what you will always crave..Married..not..pondering..it dont matter..But for someone that thinks he’s a real man shouldnt go about openly & freely making statements about women like that…but he may have dealt with some foreal bitches in his past though….but in this movie..im certain he was a hoe..
Gary H – I guess “Men Who Grew up Without a Mother” and “Mama’s Boys”, is damn near all men. LOL! Based on my limited understanding, it seems as though about 70% of men feel the need to be with multiple women at the same time, 20% of men are content with being with one woman, and 10% of men seem to have an extreme desire to be with multiple women. The 10% of men, who have this intensified craving, might be dealing with other psychological issues. Such as being molested by an older women as a child or growing up without a mother. This 10% may also have a higher sex drive than normal, or maybe they just have it going on and with more to resist. Whatever the case, this 10% of men seem to be tackling a tough battle. I would have to swap equipment for at least a day, in order to fully understand.
I also agree with the ladies – men should be careful with how they treat women, especially if they want their daughters (or other women in their lives) to be treated with respect.
